My Life
I took a quiz to let you know how your life is. Here's what the quiz said about mine.....Your Life is Better Than 70% of All People. You really have things pretty good - so stop a minute and appreciate how great your life is. You likely have a cheery outlook, supportive friends, and plenty to keep you happily busy. You are usually content - and with good reason. You have a lot to be happy about. So when things don't go well, remember that you have it better than most people!
I'm really going to try to remember this, but the person who wrote this obviously never completed an international adoption.

Busy, but good, day
Today was a busy, busy day. It started with a trip to Monroe Symphony League's Book Fair. MSL has this book fair every 3 to 4 months and it's a huge fund raiser for them. I have to take a tote bag with me because I always find so many books I can't wait to read. I always try to get there when the doors open so I can hit the fiction books before anyone else does. This time I got 14 books for the bargain price of $11.50! Here's a pic of my loot:

Later in the dad, Mom and I went to Bossier City to see Paula Deen at the Century Tel Center. She was very entertaining, but surprisingly, didn't cook a lot. However, I was able to snap a picture of her during her brief time in the "kitchen":

The trip was completed with a trip to Strawn's to pick up Brian a chocolate pie. This was done in the rain, so I hope it was appreciated! :) Must have been, the pie disappeared quickly
